How to fix aol mail not displaying the images or link problem?

Writer: Mark JohnsonMark Johnson

When you receive an email with the attachment and aol won't let you see the link or images. it means, AOL Mail has marked that mail as an spam. in such a case, you have to go to that particular email, if you see their not as spam option. simply click on that to see the images or attachment.

But sometimes, aol doesn't mark the email as spam but still some users are unable to see the images on their email. That happens when you have hidden the image from the aol mail settings or their is a browser issue. But the good part is that, these types of isses are easily fixable. you can easily fix them by making the changes into the account.

How to fix the aol mail not displaying the images or link problem?

  1. Please open the aol mail account and go to the mail settings. now disable the hide image option from there.

  2. Now check the file extension. AOL mail doesn't support all types of extensions. if they are not using the universal extensions. aol won't allow you to open or show such files. also, these types of emails will be marked as the spam automatically.

  3. Make sure that the sender is not blocked in the aol mail account. if they are blocked, you have to mark their emails as not a spam first, then only you will see the images on the account.

  4. Couple of times, users are unable to receive the new emails on the aol mail account because of the browser issues. so you need to delete the cookies and cache files and then retry to access the webmail again.

  5. Let's reset the browser to the factory settings and then retry to access the internet again. it should have started working fine now for you.

If you have already made these changes but aol mail is not showing the images. you should replace the browser. it should be showing the images now.
